In 1998, DFX created its first operational cell dedicated to exclusively serving companies in the automotive segment, initially serving a large automaker in Juiz de Fora, participating from the design, planning and logistics organization, to the start of vehicle production. in Brazil and exclusive export lines.
Since then, DFX has provided consultancy services focused on customs legislation, air shipment agency, logistics coordination of international transport in the “door to door” logistics chain, full or partial, and customs clearance.
Due to the specific characteristics and diversity of operations in the imports and exports of companies in the automotive segment, DFX's automotive department specializes in special and atypical regimes that benefit exclusively or not, imports from this segment: DRAWBACK, Suspension and Exemption, Admission , Temporary, Automotive Regime, RECOM, Special ICMS Regime, Customs Warehouse, Import of used equipment, among others.
In 2006, we planned and operationalized the transfer of vehicle production lines, Gross and Final Assembly, from Germany and South Africa, to this same manufacturer. We accompany everything from disassembly at the places of origin, providing guidance on the cleaning of containers and preparation of documentation for the responsible local suppliers, to the delivery of all imported equipment to the factory.
In 2007, we developed a specific study of the special customs regime of Intermediate Drawback in suspension mode to enable its application to exporting manufacturers and some of their suppliers. To make operationalization viable, we developed software dedicated to controlling the Concession Acts involved, and we are currently a company specializing in this Intermediate Drawback control service for car manufacturers together with their suppliers, both importers of inputs.
We developed and operationalized the temporary admission project for returnable packaging for two other companies, reducing the costs of imports from these companies.
In addition to the services mentioned, we have developed a successful partnership since 2002 to date with some auto parts companies, providing services in the international transport of CFCL containers from different origins in Europe through HUB Hamburg and HUB Spain, and also from Mexico and China , as well as all logistical coordination of shipments through our branch in Paraná through the Port of Paranaguá and Curitiba airport.
